Putting this together for a friend who wants to game at 1440p and do some light video editing. Budget is flexible around 900 but could stretch to 950. This is what I have so far:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 G2
MB: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK
RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 CL30
GPU: RX 9070 XT
Storage: 2TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe
Case: Fractal Design North
PSU: Corsair RM850e 80+ Gold

Anything you would swap at this budget?
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)

Solid build. The 9800X3D and RX 9070 XT is the right pairing at that budget right now. Excellent 1440p gaming performance and AMD's driver situation has genuinely sorted itself out

NH-D15 G2 is overkill for the 9800X3D which runs very cool but you will appreciate the silence. No complaints on that choice

The Fractal North is a great case but check your cooler clearance. The NH-D15 G2 is a big cooler and the North has a lower clearance than you would expect. Verify before ordering

Samsung 990 Pro is excellent but at 900 pounds I would look at the WD Black SN850X as an alternative. Often cheaper and almost identical real-world performance

32GB DDR5 6000 CL30 is exactly right for an AMD build. Do not go below 6000MHz on AM5 and the latency matters. Good choice

PSU is solid but 850W is generous for this build. An RM750e would be fine and might save you a few pounds to put toward something else
