What is the most overrated AI video editor right now?

I am trying to avoid the mistake of spending time or money on something that does not actually solve the problem.

Most people use AI as a search engine replacement and miss what it is actually good at.

For me the most overrated AI video editor right now is probably anything marketed as a "one click Hollywood studio". The promise is usually bigger than the actual workflow improvement.

AI can remove backgrounds, clean audio and help with rough cuts, but it does not magically turn average footage into a masterpiece.

The boring editing decisions still matter.

The biggest issue is that many AI video editors sell speed but add another step. You upload footage, wait for processing, fix the weird choices, then export.

Sometimes it is faster to just make the edit yourself.
