Every era of wrestling has performers who never quite got the push they deserved. Some were brilliant in the ring but struggled with promos. Others were excellent all round but got lost in crowded rosters, booked in pointless feuds or never given a proper championship run. Fans often recognise their talent long before management does, if management ever does

Looking at the last ten years or so, there are plenty of candidates across WWE, AEW, NJPW, TNA and the independent scene. Some went on to bigger success after leaving one company for another. Others are still waiting for their moment. The definition of underrated is flexible here, so feel free to make the case for anyone you think deserved more

My pick is Cesaro, now known as Claudio Castagnoli in AEW. His strength, technical skill and athleticism were incredible, and he could have a great match with anyone. Yet he never held a world title in WWE, despite huge crowd reactions at times. Seeing him do well in AEW and the Blackpool Combat Club has been satisfying, but I still think he deserved more

Please make your case for your choice, with a match or moment that proves it. Women's wrestlers, tag team specialists and wrestlers from outside the big promotions are all welcome. Disagreements are fine, as long as they stay friendly
