Yeah, I definitely feel like winter gets harder every year, but I also think I've just become less tolerant of being cold and dark for months on end.

When I was younger it was just "oh it's winter", now it feels like a full lifestyle disruption. The lack of daylight really messes with my energy more than it used to

Cold, crisp, maybe snow. The problem is the muddy, grey version we usually get. That's the depressing part, not the cold itself

One thing that helps a bit is forcing a short walk at lunchtime, even if the weather is miserable. Not always appealing, but it breaks up that constant grey feeling
