Every streaming service is piling content hoping something sticks. 80% is mediocre. Finding the 20% that's worth watching requires wading through reviews and trailers. What have you actually watched and recommended to friends? Not what won awards or got hyped. What made you sit through episodes when you could be doing literally anything else? The bar for quality feels lower on streaming than it was for cable or theater. Maybe because volume is so high. Or maybe streaming format just works for some types of stories and not others. Shrinking (Apple TV) is genuinely good. Smart writing interesting characters. Not trying to be flashy just good storytelling

I enjoyed The Bear on Hulu. Chaotic restaurant energy high stakes. Very watchable
