Which is better SanDisk vs Samsung SD cards?

I keep seeing people debate SanDisk vs Samsung for SD cards. Is there actually a real world difference or is it just brand preference? Looking at SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB SDXC UHS-I Card vs Samsung EVO Select 128GB microSD Card specifically

SanDisk tends to win on peak speed but Samsung is often more consistent over time

In real world use you will not notice much difference unless you are doing heavy workloads
