Unified junior middleweight champion Xander Zayas (23-0, 13 KOs) defends his WBA and WBO titles against Jaron 'Boots' Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs) on June 27 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, live on DAZN PPV. Zayas became the youngest unified ruler in boxing history in January. Ennis is one of the most feared punchers at 154 pounds. Both fighters are unbeaten. The styles clash is a classic boxer versus puncher setup.

Boots Ennis has 31 knockouts from 35 fights. His power is genuinely frightening and Zayas has never been in a fight with that kind of punching power coming at him

Zayas calling Boots 'just another man' in the buildup is exactly the mindset you need to not freeze under the lights. Whether it is bravado or genuine belief we will find out on June 27
git commit -m "fixed everything"

The styles make the fight. Zayas is slick, sharp combinations, excellent timing. Ennis is a southpaw with reach and a finishing instinct. It is a legitimate puzzle for both of them
Still figuring it all out

I have Ennis winning but I would not be shocked by a Zayas decision. He is very smart and if he can control range and avoid the big left hand for 12 rounds he wins on points

Two undefeated champions in June in Brooklyn is the kind of fight the sport needs more of. Neither side blinked. Respect to both promoters for making it
