WWE has confirmed Night of Champions takes place on June 27 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, streaming on Netflix internationally and ESPN in the US. The card will feature the finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, with the winners each earning a world title match at SummerSlam. Triple H revealed the official poster featuring Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Trick Williams, and Liv Morgan.

On the King of the Ring side, Dominik Mysterio advanced on SmackDown this week by defeating Damian Priest, Bron Breakker, and Trick Williams in a four-way to reach the semi-finals. On Raw, Je'Von Evans capitalised on Seth Rollins being attacked by The Vision to win his semi-final spot. The bracket is producing interesting matchups and the Saudi show is shaping up to be a strong card.

On the Queen of the Ring side, Liv Morgan advanced on Raw this week in a Fatal Four-Way also involving Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, and Chelsea Green. Morgan winning on her birthday is the kind of detail the storyline writers love and she remains a favourite to win the crown and potentially set up a SummerSlam programme with Rhea Ripley.

Dominik winning a Fatal Four-Way against that field is a big win for where his character is right now. The heel work he has been doing for a couple of years is paying off. He has become genuinely compelling.

The Vision attacking Seth Rollins to let Evans through is a good use of the faction. Rollins has been strong in tournament builds before and the interference adds texture to both the Evans story and whatever Seth's next programme is.

Liv Morgan winning on her birthday is exactly the kind of meta-detail WWE enjoys. She has been very good this year and a Ripley feud at SummerSlam would be one of the better women's championship matches they could put together.
