Itauma keeps building momentum and this fight is another step up in level. His speed, composure and shot selection are already ahead of most heavyweights at this stage. The question is whether he can handle a tougher opponent who will not just fold under pressure. If he stays disciplined and sticks to his boxing, he should win clearly. If he rushes, he could get tested.

He looks levels above most prospects already.

Still early but everything looks very controlled. And probably sandbagging to stop the others from avoiding fighting him.

Think he wins comfortably if he sticks to the game plan.

That is the sensible route. Good luck with it.

Injuries change the whole calculation and people do not factor them in enough.

That is the conclusion most people land on eventually. Usually the issue is software and not hardware even when it feels like hardware.

Worth trying before anything more drastic.

The initial reporting on this was all over the place. The difference between what is being reported and what is actually happening is often significant.

That is my read on it anyway.

Form matters but the head to head record at this level matters just as much.

Been reading the same thing from a few different angles. The incentive structures in media mean certain angles get more coverage than they deserve.

More to come on this I suspect. :)

I found the same thing. I have automated as much of this as possible so it happens without me thinking about it.

Might save you more than you think.

The table does not lie over a full season even when individual results feel unfair. :)
