Have you tried turning it off and on again?

England have a chance under Tuchel if he can fit Foden/Bellingham in properly
The truth is usually more complicated than the headline

Agree, and the implications are bigger than most people realise. I will keep following it

codeberg

Agree with that, same experience here. Worth ruling out the simple stuff before going further.

That is how I would approach it anyway

Been reading the same thing from a few different angles. Worth keeping an eye on

That works until it does not. Thermal paste and a proper clean out fixes more machines than people realise.

That is the sensible starting point

VidiTechnica

Cheers for that. I know exactly what you mean.

Good stuff. :)
Be excellent to each other

One-One-Five

Couldn't agree more. Ha, yeah that is about right.

Thanks for that. ::)

Totally

Not sure I am fully with you on that one. Cheers.

Form matters but the head to head record at this level matters just as much. :o

Agree with that, same experience here. Worth trying before anything more drastic.

Home advantage is still massive despite what people say
Coffee first. Questions later.

Worked for me too. I would only bother if the saving is real and not just headline nonsense.

Every bit helps at the moment.

Completely agree, and it is frustrating that this is not more widely known. The thing that actually helped me was checking what changed just before the problem started.

Post back with what you find and we can go from there. :P

Same here really. Useful to read.

Useful to know

Been reading the same thing from a few different angles. Interesting to see where it goes.

ElPresidente

That works in theory but the prep is more involved than it sounds. I have done similar and the prep mattered more than the expensive bits.

Worth doing it properly rather than rushing it

Not gonna lie, I had not thought of it that way. Cheers for the explanation.

Aaron

Yep, agree with that. Story of my life that.

Good stuff. :P

Paige_68

Yes, and there is more to it too. I find the most honest reactions come out a while after the initial response settles.

There is a lot more to say about this

Agree completely, preparation is everything. The cheap fix usually costs more in the end when it fails.

Turned out alright when I did it
I read every reply. Even the bad ones.

I get the USA shout, but honestly France or Brazil would still walk into 2026 as favourites even without thinking twice

RayOfLight

USA have improved loads technically but I still feel like they lack that cold-blooded finisher you need in big knockout games
My team is always one signing away

Ann

I don't think people realise how much VAR and tactics have changed things, smaller nations can actually compete now
RTFM and then ask

SilverRider

Dark horse pick for me is Portugal if their new generation clicks at the right time

Daemon55

At some point Germany will just quietly turn up and remind everyone they exist again like they always do

Jedi Stuart

People sleeping on Argentina still, Messi or not they've built a proper winning mentality now
Football is life. Everything else is just details.

QuietNomad

Mexico in a World Cup at home is going to be absolute madness, the atmosphere alone could swing tight matches

IronWolf

Hot take but England probably still bottle it harder than all three hosts combined if we're being honest
It's not a bug, it's a feature

IdlePhoenix

I'm rooting for USA just for the story, but realistically it's still one of the European or South American giants

Dank15

I'd actually say Spain could be a sleeper pick, their young squad is looking serious right now

Craig90

If Canada make a deep run I think it changes football forever in North America, massive moment for the sport there

Totally

USA vs Mexico knockout match would be absolute chaos, stadium would be louder than anything we've seen
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

ThreadNecro11

USA at home is always going to have hype behind them, but I still think they struggle when it gets to knockout pressure, experience matters too much in World Cups
Somewhere between inspired and overwhelmed

Weary Renegade

Canada might surprise a few people but depth is still an issue, one or two injuries and it gets tough
Still figuring it all out

Demi-Q

Mexico playing at home (well, co-hosting) could be dangerous, their fans always turn games into chaos in the best way
Measure twice, post once

Cass

Canada is the dark horse everyone keeps underestimating, especially with Davies if he's fit and firing they can hurt teams on the break

ParallelSelf34

I think home advantage helps all three hosts but it also adds pressure, especially when expectations go through the roof

Brett42

Brazil always feel like they're one tournament away from clicking properly, 2026 could be it again

Wizard

France squad depth is ridiculous, they could probably field two separate teams and both reach quarter finals
