Something worth debating properly rather than just shouting about.

People always overreact to recent form and forget the longer picture.

I am especially interested in what people would avoid as well as what they recommend.

I wonder if that is the whole story or just the most obvious part of it. There is a kind of restraint in the best of this that is harder to achieve than it looks.
