Something I wrote recently.

The books I have not read yet
are a better version of me.
The one who has the time for them.
The one who lets the pages be

a full evening's worth of attention.
I buy them in good faith.
They wait on the shelf with patience.
I am working on the space.

Still tweaking it but this is the current version
