New here, introduce yourself and tell us what got you interested in tech, quantum, or AI specifically

[Distant Sienna]

Standard welcome thread for anyone newer around here. Say hello however much or little you want, and mention what actually pulled you toward following tech, quantum computing or AI specifically, since that's a big part of what this place is about

[Candle28]

Hey all, got into quantum computing purely by accident after a random YouTube rabbit hole a couple years back, never looked back since

[WaveFunction30]

New here, been following AI developments closely since the first wave of chatbots really took off, glad to find a community actually discussing it seriously

[Robin13]

Hi everyone, work adjacent to tech but wanted somewhere casual to actually discuss it rather than just read about it passively

[Velvet Connor]

Long time lurker finally posting, quantum computing specifically fascinates me because I still don't fully understand it and that's exactly why I keep reading about it

[NightHarbour]

Welcome to all the new folks in this thread, always love hearing what specific rabbit hole brought people here

[James95]

Hey all, came here after falling down a rabbit hole of AI videos and realizing half of them made no sense without discussion. Figured a forum would be better than just nodding along pretending to understand everything

[Reward Annie]

New around here, background is more on the business side but tech keeps creeping into everything. Thought it made sense to actually learn what's going on instead of just hearing buzzwords all day.

[LatentSpace]

Hi everyone, got into this space through gaming mods originally, which somehow led into coding, which then led into AI curiosity. It escalated quickly

[Rogue Sam]

Hello, mostly lurking so far. Quantum stuff caught my interest because it sounds completely unrealistic until you dig into it and realize it's very real.

[Sinead_47]

Hey, work in IT support so constantly dealing with tech but wanted a place to actually talk about where things are going, not just fix printers

[Linda]

New here, started following AI because of how fast it's improving. Feels like every few months something new shifts the conversation entirely.

[Daemon92]

I finally got around to say Hi all, stumbled in after trying out a few AI tools for work and realizing there's a lot more depth than just "ask it questions".

[Context Sentinel]

Hey, coming from a science background and got curious about quantum computing after hearing it described as "not just faster, but different". That stuck with me.

[CacheLayerSquid]

Hello everyone, mostly interested in how AI affects everyday tools rather than the deep theory side. Practical angle is what pulled me in.

[Klingon]

Hello, got interested through data analysis work and how AI tools can speed things up. Still figuring out what's useful versus overkill.

[NoLimitsBen18]

Hey, just here to learn and maybe contribute occasionally. Tech moves fast, so having a place to keep up helps a lot

[Benzema63]

Hello, interest started with curiosity about automation and where it might replace or assist real jobs. Still forming opinions.

[One-One-Five]

Also New here, been following tech casually for years but AI progress recently made it feel worth paying closer attention

[NadirDriver]

Hey, more of a hobbyist than anything. Like tinkering with tools and seeing what they can do, even if it's just for fun

[Sharon79]

Hi everyone, came for the AI discussions but staying for the mix of topics. Nice to see different perspectives in one place.

[SignalFlow Depot]

Hi, joined because reading articles only gets you so far. Discussions tend to highlight what actually matters versus hype
