Friday's SmackDown from Denver wrapped up the Money in the Bank qualifying matches, and POST Wrestling has a full review from Wai Ting and Neal Flanagan. The two final spots went to Kevin Owens and Tiffany Stratton, so both ladder matches are now set. It was a busy show with a lot riding on the qualifiers. The ladder matches are always one of the highlights of the year

The men's qualifier saw Kevin Owens beat Cody Rhodes and Johnny Gargano. According to PWTorch's post show coverage, Randy Orton cost Cody the match, which suggests the Orton and Cody story is far from finished. Owens getting a briefcase shot is a good move for him. He is at his best in chaotic multi person matches. It also sets up an obvious story for the ladder match itself

On the women's side, Tiffany Stratton won a three way qualifier against Tatum Paxley and Candice LeRae. Stratton has been on a strong run, and a ladder match suits her athletic style. Paxley and LeRae both had their moments, but Stratton always looked like the favourite. She has a real chance of winning the whole thing

The other big talking point was that Blake Monroe and Giulia finally had their match. This has been building for a while, and the reviewers framed it as a long awaited encounter. The XL edition of the podcast also covered news including the passing of Eddie Osbourne and reports that The Acclaimed and Sheamus are heading into free agency. Plenty to discuss for wrestling fans this weekend

Orton costing Cody is the angle I am most interested in. Where does that feud go next? And who are you picking to win the men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches?
