WWE plans to hold WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia in April 2027, but Las Vegas will not be a fallback venue, Ringside News reports, citing the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. According to the report, sources in Las Vegas say "the city does not have the dates available in April and is not able to spend the kind of money they have in the past." Las Vegas hosted recent WrestleManias, so it would have been the obvious backup choice

The money involved is huge. WWE's Saudi Arabia event on 7 November is estimated to be worth around 60 million dollars, and WrestleMania 43 well over 100 million. Those sums give WWE every reason to stick with its plans. The article says WWE still intends to run both events as scheduled, though contingency planning is still sensible because of travel uncertainties

A WrestleMania outside the US would be a historic first for the main event of the wrestling year. Fans have long asked for WrestleMania to visit the UK, Europe or elsewhere, and a move abroad would open the door to that conversation. But the location has divided opinion, and travel costs for American and European fans will be significant. No date has been announced for the April 2027 show

The report also suggests that host cities are becoming more careful about how much they will pay to attract big events. WrestleMania brings a lot of visitors, but the bidding has become expensive. It will be interesting to see whether future WrestleManias go to whichever city or country offers the most money

Would you travel to a WrestleMania outside the US? And should WWE ever bring WrestleMania to the UK?
