There was a worrying moment at Money in the Bank involving Je'Von Evans during the men's ladder match. According to TJR Wrestling, Bron Breakker speared Evans on the outside earlier in the match, and Evans was taken out on a stretcher. He later returned, driving an ambulance to the ring. While climbing for the briefcase, Breakker pushed him off the ladder and through the roof of the ambulance

Medics attended to him and he was taken away from the arena. In a post show interview with Cathy Kelley, Triple H gave an update. He said Evans was still with the medical team. He added that he was hoping for the best and had never seen anything like it in his life

The exact nature of any injury had not been confirmed when the reports were written. Athlon Sports said there was no immediate confirmation of the severity. It is important not to speculate. Spots like this are planned carefully, but things can still go wrong, and the medical team will know far more than any of us

Evans is one of WWE's brightest young stars. His athleticism and energy have made him a fan favourite, and he was a big part of what made the ladder match so exciting. Everyone will be hoping he is okay. There were also reports of a separate health update for Tiffany Stratton after a rough moment in the women's ladder match

This links to the thread we started on making wrestling safer. WWE has a strong medical team at ringside, which is exactly why quick care was available here. High risk spots will always carry some danger, and performers accept that as part of the job. The best outcome now is a full recovery and a proper break if he needs one

Wishing Je'Von Evans a quick recovery. Do you think high risk spots like this are worth it in big matches?
