Classic thread that never gets old. Just drop it and move on. No explaining yourself, no justifying your taste. Whatever is on your screen right now is the correct choice and we accept it without judgement.

The only rule is that it has to be your actual current wallpaper and not something you put on specifically for this thread. Honour system in full effect. Some of the ones from when we did this last year were genuinely brilliant and a few of them I have kept as my own wallpaper ever since.

I'll start: mine is a photo I took on my phone on a walk about two years ago. The light was doing something specific that afternoon and I have never found anything I like more than it since. Completely ordinary to anyone else, but that's the point.

It's a photo I took on a road trip about four years ago. Middle of nowhere, incredible sky. My phone has died twice since then and restoring that photo each time has been the first thing I've done.
