Classic thread that never gets old. Just drop it and move on. No explaining yourself, no justifying your taste. Whatever is on your screen right now is the correct choice and we accept it without judgement.

The only rule is that it has to be your actual current wallpaper and not something you put on specifically for this thread. Honour system in full effect. Some of the ones from when we did this last year were genuinely brilliant and a few of them I have kept as my own wallpaper ever since.

I'll start: mine is a photo I took on my phone on a walk about two years ago. The light was doing something specific that afternoon and I have never found anything I like more than it since. Completely ordinary to anyone else, but that's the point.

NASA deep field image. Has been for about three years. Never got bored of it. Every time I look at it I feel appropriately insignificant.

Embarrassingly it is still the default that came with my phone. I have never bothered to change it. I'm not sure what that says about me.
