Been looking for something new and this came up.

Real answers from people here are usually more useful than search results.

Context might help - I am not trying to do anything complicated, just want to make sure I do not overcomplicate it.

Happy to answer questions

Sorted it the same way. I ended up learning the hard way that the simple route is often better.

Take your time with it and it will come out well

Spot on. Happens to me all the time.

Ha, fair enough. :)

That is the conclusion most people land on eventually. I have fixed more machines by doing less than by doing the obvious dramatic thing.

Should sort it if the basics are fine
VAR can do one

A show I would love to experience fresh again is Breaking Bad. The first watch had so many moments where you had no idea how far things were going to spiral.

Knowing the ending changes the whole experience because you start noticing tiny details in earlier episodes. The way characters talk, small reactions, even background scenes feel different the second time around.

It is rare for a show to reward both watching and rewatching that much. :)

The first one that comes to mind is Lost. Say what you want about the ending, but the feeling of discovering that island week by week was something special.

Going back without knowing the mysteries would be amazing. No theories, no spoilers, no internet detectives analysing every leaf in the jungle. :D

The early seasons especially had a real sense of adventure that is hard to recreate.

For me it would be The Sopranos. Watching it now means knowing where certain relationships and decisions lead, which changes the way you view every conversation.

The fun part would be catching all the little character moments again. Tony could say something completely normal while the audience knows there is a storm coming.

IdleWarden

Game of Thrones before the later seasons became such a huge discussion would be interesting to revisit. The early episodes had so many shocking moments because nobody knew who was safe.

Imagine watching the Red Wedding with no warning and no social media ruining it. That would have been an unforgettable experience. :o

A lot of people mention big dramas, but I would pick a comedy like The Office. The first time watching it had that feeling of slowly getting to know all the strange personalities in the office.

The jokes hit differently once you understand the characters too. Some of the funniest moments are not even the obvious ones.
