Angel Studios released a second trailer for Runner and it leans harder into the buddy action comedy elements than the earlier teaser suggested. Alan Ritchson plays a former soldier turned delivery man who ends up transporting a critical medical shipment while being pursued by a ruthless cartel, and Owen Wilson joins him as an unlikely partner along the way. The tone bounces between genuine action set pieces and lighter comedic banter between the two leads.

Ritchson has built a solid reputation for physical action roles over the past few years and this trailer continues that trend with several car chase and hand to hand combat sequences. Wilson meanwhile brings his usual laid back comedic energy, which creates a decent contrast against Ritchson's more intense screen presence. Their chemistry in the brief exchanges shown here looks like it could carry a lot of the film's midsection.
