SPCX will begin trading on Nasdaq. The IPO priced at $135 on June 11 night, giving a $1.75 trillion target valuation. Watch this thread for first-day reaction, early price action and what the open means for the rest of the market. The key number to watch is whether it holds above the IPO price. Passive index inclusion buying is mandatory within 5 days. Early pre-market futures and crypto derivatives had the implied price ranging from $129 to above $150 depending on the instrument.

Rocket Lab, Intuitive Machines, IonQ, D-Wave and the quantum and AI pure-plays have all been under pressure as capital rotated toward this listing. The question now is whether the halo lifts them or the post-IPO lock-up pressure on early investors weighs on the whole sector

Watching the open price will you everything about market sentiment for the next month. A big first-day pop means risk appetite is alive. A flat or down open after all this hype would be the most bearish possible signal for the whole AI and space sector.

The retail FOMO on this one is going to be enormous. Every trading app in the UK and US is going to see a flood of market orders at open and the spread will be brutal for anyone not using a limit order

Whatever happens on day one matters less than what happens in 90 days when the first lockup expirations start arriving and early investors can sell. That is when you find out if the price is real or just structural demand from passive funds

The quantum names that sold off ahead of this should see some of that capital return now the listing is done. IONQ, QBTS and RGTI were dragged down by the liquidity rotation. If SPCX holds above IPO price watch those recover

The crypto derivatives market was implying a first-day price above $160 at various points this week. If the actual open is below $150 that is a meaningful miss versus the speculative positioning

I am watching the Nasdaq overall more than SPCX specifically. If passive buying drives SPCX up 30% on day one while the rest of tech is flat, you have the clearest concentration risk signal in recent market history
