Water polo genuinely deserves way more attention, watched it live once and the actual physicality is completely lost through how it typically gets broadcast

Curious what people think is getting genuinely shortchanged purely by presentation rather than any lack of actual quality or excitement in the sport itself

Handball, thrilling in person and almost completely invisible on mainstream television outside of specific countries where it's already huge

Honestly think rugby sevens deserves way more coverage, the pace and physicality would hook a much wider audience with better exposure
I read every reply. Even the bad ones.

Yeah water polo is a great pick, the underwater camera angles that occasionally show up online reveal a completely different and more brutal game than the surface broadcast suggests

Field hockey for me honestly, incredibly fast paced sport that just never gets the broadcast investment to actually showcase how skilled the athletes really are

Nah for me it's badminton, one of the fastest reaction sports that exists and almost nobody outside specific regions ever gets to see top level matches

Same energy but for track cycling specifically, intense racing that gets almost zero regular coverage outside of major championship events

Weirdly think curling deserves more credit, the strategic depth is completely lost on casual viewers who only ever catch it during the Olympics every four years
