It is done. Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua has been confirmed as a done deal for the fourth quarter of 2026 on Netflix, announced by Ring Magazine and confirmed by Eddie Hearn on April 27. Hearn described it as 'signed, sealed and delivered.' November is the targeted month. Venue is expected to be a UK stadium or a Saudi-backed event under the Riyadh Season banner.

Both fighters have tune-up bouts first. Fury beat Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April on points and called Joshua out ringside. Joshua faces Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Riyadh. Fury trains next in Dublin on August 1 before the main event.

The fight has been ten years in the making. Fury first became heavyweight world champion in 2015. Joshua unified titles between 2017 and 2019. They have circled each other ever since through retirements, returns, defeats to Usyk, and collapsed negotiations. It is finally happening.

Joshua's styles matchup with Fury is the one that keeps analysts divided. Fury's movement, reach and ability to survive adversity versus Joshua's power, improved footwork and the knowledge he cannot afford another big stoppage loss. On paper it is genuinely difficult to call
Football is life. Everything else is just details.

Fury coming off a points win over Makhmudov and Joshua coming off beating Jake Paul and then Prenga means neither man arrives cold. The tune-up structure is exactly right for a fight that has been built this long
