**Tonight's the night... come on England! 🇬🇧⚽**

I think we can all admit there is a strange mixture of excitement and nerves going into this one. The belief is there, the squad has shown they can handle pressure, but anyone who has followed England over the years knows that big knockout games can make even the most confident fan feel a little uneasy.

This is another huge test and one where the small moments will probably decide everything. We have the attacking quality to hurt anyone, players who can change a game in an instant, and a defence that has looked much more settled when it matters. The key will be staying calm, keeping control of the ball, and not letting the occasion get bigger than the performance.

The opposition will be no pushovers either. At this stage of a tournament there are no easy games, and every team left has earned their place. We cannot afford a slow start or silly mistakes. We need intensity from the first whistle and that famous England mentality of fighting for every ball.

I'm feeling optimistic, but I won't pretend I'm not nervous. That is what supporting England does to you. We have been through the heartbreak, the near misses and the moments where it felt like it was finally going to happen. Maybe this time we can enjoy the ride a little longer.

Prediction? My head says it will be tight, but my heart says England will find a way. I'll go for a 2-1 win, probably with a few moments where we are all hiding behind the sofa.

Come on England. Bring the noise, believe in the team, and let's see where this journey takes us! 🏴
