England play Panama in their final group game needing three points to guarantee progress. After the 0-0 bore draw with Ghana England's goal difference advantage is slim. Panama are eliminated having lost both previous matches. They'll play with freedom having nothing to lose. England will be expected to win and win well. Harry Kane needs goals. The attacking players need to show up in a way they didn't against Ghana. Tuchel needs to find the right balance between rotation for the knockout stage and picking the team most likely to score multiple goals against a team with nothing to lose. This should be straightforward. Against this England it might not be.

Panama playing with nothing to lose is the variable. Eliminated teams sometimes play their best football of the tournament

Tuchel needs to rotate but not too much. Knockout football starts immediately after. Fresh legs matter but so does momentum

The Ghana match gave England nothing to build on psychologically. A convincing win against Panama would reset confidence before knockouts

Faded Ross

Saka was excellent against Ghana. Give him the ball early and often. He's England's best creative player at this tournament
Cashback on everything or it didn't happen

4-0 would be ideal for goal difference and confidence. 1-0 would be extremely on-brand England
We can only hope this will be the last footwear to fall

England qualified from this group facing a tough opponent in the Round of 32 regardless. That game mattered more than how they beat Panama

Croatia vs Ghana simultaneously. England need to know what's happening there. Depending on that result they might need more than just a win

England had No excuses against Panama. In the end they won the match easily enough-ish
