Scotland plays Brazil knowing they're probably eliminated unless something miraculous happens. Brazil plays knowing they're topping the group. The stakes are asymmetrical. Scotland needs to win by any margin or at least not lose by more than one goal. Brazil needs to not embarrass themselves. Brazil should win easily. Scotland will try but doesn't have the quality to genuinely threaten Brazil at their best. Brazil will probably treat it casually. This is the match where tournament favorites show maturity or vulnerability. If Brazil dominates Scotland is done. If Scotland stays close there's hope. Mathematics says Scotland is going home.

My team is always one signing away

SuperPosition

Scotland has nothing to lose so they might play loose and create problems. Brazil has everything to lose so they might play tight. Weird dynamics
Football is life. Everything else is just details.

Brazil is too good. Scotland knows this. Psychologically that's already a loss for Scotland

MickFoley00

If Scotland scores first in the first 10 minutes it changes everything. They'd have actual chance. But Brazil won't let that happen

WaveFunction

Brazil's rotation and depth means even if they play casually they're still better than Scotland at full intensity
ISA maxed. Costs minimised.
