Each hardware approach has a genuinely different set of tradeoffs, superconducting qubits are fast but need serious cooling, trapped ions boast longer coherence but slower gates, photonic systems can run at room temperature, and neutral atom platforms are scaling qubit counts quickly. No need to pick based on which is technically ahead right now, just which approach you find yourself hoping wins out long term.
