Something I wrote on a bad day

First time sharing this one.

Today was one of those days
that does not have a name for what it was.
Not difficult exactly.
More like everything had a kind of fuzz

around its edges.
Nothing landed cleanly.
The hours passed without deciding.
I am putting it down, cleanly.

Gomringer's Silencio being the most economical poetic statement of the last century is the claim I keep coming back to when I think about what poems are actually trying to do. A word repeated until its absence becomes the subject. That is an entire aesthetic philosophy in one page
