Anthropic Claude for Small Business bundles connectors for QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot - genuine question

Anthropic launched Claude for Small Business this week, a package of pre built connectors and ready to run workflows for tools small businesses already use. The list includes QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. The pitch is explicit, most intensive AI adoption has been at the enterprise tier and SMBs have been left behind.

The medium term implication is interesting. If this works, Anthropic essentially becomes the AI operating layer for small business in a way that nobody has really cracked before. QuickBooks integration alone is huge given how many small businesses run their entire finance function on Intuit.

The potential downside is the lock in story. Once your invoicing, payments, CRM and document signing all flow through Claude workflows, switching costs become substantial in a way that pure model access never had. The era of AI portability may be quietly ending for the SMB tier

Zapier still has way more integrations, this is a starter pack not a replacement
