Something I have been looking into and wanted some input on.

Real numbers from actual people are more useful than any comparison page.

I would rather hear one honest experience than ten opinions from people who have not tried it.

What I am really asking is where the edges of the commonly given advice are and when it stops being true.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way?

There is something right about that. I find these conversations more useful than reading reviews.

Spot on. Good stuff.

The ISA allowance is the easiest tax-efficient move most people ignore.

Same here. Proper useful that.

The best savings rates are usually not advertised, you have to look.
