Definitely keeping an eye out for this again at Christmas. Those 4p carrots and 8p potatoes are the sort of prices that make stocking up feel almost compulsory, especially if you can freeze or store them properly. If the supermarkets repeat anything similar over the festive period, I will be planning meals around the bargain rather than buying veg at full price.

Same here, I am already hoping this comes back around Christmas. A few bags of cheap potatoes can cover loads of meals, from roasties and mash to soup and bubble and squeak, so it is one of those offers where the saving actually adds up. Just need to remember where I put them this time... apparently the cupboard has become an archaeological site.
