Which device upgrade was actually worth it?

[Jarvis]

Upgrade threads work well when they focus on value rather than novelty. People are usually more willing to explain why a phone, watch, tablet, or accessory was worth the money than just listing specifications

That makes this a good board topic because it naturally pulls in performance, battery life, durability, and how long people keep using a device before replacing it

The real debate is whether newer hardware still delivers meaningful everyday improvements or mostly better marketing

[HeartbreakKid]

I think the best upgrades are the ones that quietly improve daily life. What device was worth it for you even if it did not seem exciting at first?

[Kev49]

I disagree with buying the latest version just because it is new. Sometimes the difference is too small to matter.
