Everyone's first instinct is money, obviously, but I want people to actually sit with this one for a second because time feels like the genuinely scarcer resource once you really think it through

Unlimited money still runs into real limits, you can only be in one place, you're still aging, you still need sleep, whereas unlimited time would let you actually learn every language you wanted, read every book, build genuinely deep relationships without the constant background pressure of a clock running out

The counterargument obviously is that money buys you freedom from the daily grind that eats most of your actual time in the first place, so maybe they're not as separable as the question pretends

Curious where people actually land once they think past the reflexive answer

Unlimited time sounds nice in theory but poverty with infinite time is still poverty, you'd spend it all just surviving rather than actually enjoying any of it

That's fair but the question implies your basic needs are covered either way, otherwise it's not really a fair comparison at all

Genuinely picked time after actually sitting with it like you asked, I think most of my stress comes from feeling rushed rather than feeling broke

The aging thing is what tips it for me, unlimited money doesn't stop your body from declining, unlimited time at least theoretically means you could be young forever too depending how you interpret it
