I have seen loads of surface-level takes on this elsewhere.

Part of the reason I asked is because I would rather get a range of actual opinions. :P

Two monitors one landscape one portrait. Portrait monitor for reading and code. Changed how I work more than anything else I've done to the setup

Laptop on a stand with external keyboard and mouse. Looks minimal. Took three years to get to this simplicity from a much more complicated setup
