School teaches plenty of useful things, but adult life often reveals strange gaps where practical knowledge should probably exist

A lot of people leave education knowing how to solve equations but not how to manage stress properly, understand contracts, communicate well, cook basic meals, or recognise manipulation

The older I get the more obvious it becomes that some of the most important life skills are learned randomly rather than systematically

What skill do you think schools should spend far more time teaching
