I need some new trainers for a semi work event so I can't go in my scuffed pairs

Do you mean direct at adidas or like at JD sports?

Opinions are my own. Obviously.

Same thing happened to me. Definitely worth picking up. ::)

I would push back on that hard. There is usually more recency bias in these discussions than people admit.

Interested to see where this goes. ;)
Not financial advice. Not medical advice. Just vibes.

I have seen that go wrong in practice. A lot of guides overcomplicate it, usually one or two sensible changes do most of the work.

Let us know how it goes. ;)

Have you tried signing up for the adidas newsletter? They sometimes send a first order code, although it can depend on the account. Worth checking before buying if you are not in a rush. :)

I do not have a spare working code at the moment, but keep an eye on the app as adidas often runs member discounts that are better than the random voucher codes floating around.

Also worth checking cashback sites if you are buying a more expensive pair. Every little bit helps.

Some codes seem to be account specific now, which makes finding a universal one much harder. The old days of finding a 20% off code that worked for everyone seem mostly gone. :(

Hope you find something though, especially if you need them for a work event.

Have a look at the sale section too. Sometimes the colourway nobody wants is already reduced more than any voucher would save. I picked up a pair that way and nobody at work knew they were the discounted ones. ;D

MidnightBear

Not sure if it still works, but adidas has had member offers through the app before that were better than public codes. Might be worth logging in and checking your basket before giving up.

The annoying part is adding everything to the basket only to find the code is excluded. Happens far too often. ::)

If you are after trainers for a semi formal event, do not overlook the quieter adidas models rather than the big sporty ones. Something like a clean black or white pair can work surprisingly well.

Hopefully someone has a current code to share, but the right style matters more than saving a few pounds.
Still figuring it all out

I have seen people get caught out by fake voucher sites claiming huge discounts. They usually just collect details or send you round in circles.

Stick with genuine offers from adidas or trusted cashback pages. A smaller real saving beats a fake 50% off promise every time.

Try checking the adidas app and signing into your account before checkout. They sometimes show personalised promotions that do not appear publicly.

No guaranteed code from me unfortunately, but good luck finding a deal. New trainers for an event is exactly the sort of purchase where a little patience can pay off :)
