My password manager I paid a one time lifetime fee for years ago, feels like the best purchase I've ever made given how much value I've gotten out of it since

I would pick a code editor plugin bundle I bought once, still receives updates years later, and I'd happily pay full price again if the developer ever asked

A writing app I bought outright before it added a subscription tier for new users, still runs perfectly and I feel lucky I bought in when I did

Definitely a video editing suite with a genuine one time license, still get feature updates for free, and it's completely spoiled me against every subscription alternative since

[GoldbergFan]

A small utility app that does exactly one thing extremely well, paid a few dollars for it years ago and it's saved me hours of time monthly ever since

[DataStream Luca]

Any backup software tool with lifetime updates included in the original purchase, one of the best value purchases I've ever made for my entire home setup
