WWE has big plans for mid December. POST Wrestling reports that the first John Cena Classic will take place on Monday 14 December at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in Florida, with an Avengers: Doomsday themed Worlds Collide the following night

Cody Rhodes is the first confirmed participant in the John Cena Classic. It will be the first time two episodes of Raw air on the same day, with the other live from Perth, Australia

Worlds Collide on Tuesday 15 December will feature WWE, NXT and AAA talent and ties in with the release of the Avengers: Doomsday film. WWE and Fanatics will run a WWE World fan area with co-branded Avengers title belts, and two day tickets go on sale on Friday 13 November at 10am Eastern time

WWE has also confirmed more appearances by John Cena during November, including NXT on Wednesday, SmackDown in Fort Lauderdale on 13 November, Raw in Raleigh on 16 November and Survivor Series in Houston on 28 November, where around 24,600 tickets have reportedly been sold

Partnering with Disney and Marvel shows how mainstream WWE has become under its current ownership. Two Raws in one day from opposite sides of the world is an ambitious idea. Cena's farewell tour keeps finding creative ways to celebrate him
