Wrestling world pays tribute to PAC after his sudden death at 40

[FrostBear]

Following on from AEW's announcement earlier this week, the tributes to Benjamin Satterley, known as PAC, have been pouring in from across the wrestling world. He died suddenly on Sunday at the age of 40, just a day after wrestling at AEW All Out, where he challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship. The circumstances of his death have not been made public, and that is how it should stay unless his family choose otherwise

Tony Khan remembered him as a beloved husband and friend who was deeply dedicated to wrestling. Triple H, who worked with him in NXT, called him an extraordinary talent and an even kinder human being. Will Ospreay described him as the greatest export from our country and the greatest human being, which is quite something coming from one of the best wrestlers in the world today

Many others shared their memories. AEW referee Bryce Remsburg talked about a 20 year friendship and how kind PAC was to his family. Tommaso Ciampa wrote at length, calling him a unicorn and the most humble person he had ever met. Kevin Owens, Becky Lynch, Paul Heyman and Rhea Ripley were among those who also paid their respects, and WWE stars reportedly wore tributes on their gear on Raw

What comes through in every message is how well liked he was as a person, not just as a performer. The in ring ability was never in doubt, but the stories about his kindness and humility say even more. For a British wrestler who worked his way up from the Newcastle scene to the top of the business, that is a fine legacy

Please add any tributes or memories you have seen, and as before, keep this thread respectful and free of speculation. His family and friends are in everyone's thoughts
