A good turn can save a stale character, unlock a better crowd reaction, or give a wrestler a completely new direction. The best turns do not happen just because someone has been the same for too long, they happen because the audience is ready to react differently. Whether it is a beloved face who needs an edge or a heel who has become too entertaining to boo, timing is everything

The best heel turns are the ones that feel obvious afterwards. You should look back and realise the signs were there for weeks
RTFM and then ask

Some wrestlers get cheered so much as heels that fighting it becomes pointless. At that stage, a face turn can feel natural rather than forced
It's not a bug, it's a feature

I do not like turns for the sake of turns. If there is no story after the switch, the new alignment gets stale just as quickly

A proper heel turn needs consequences. If someone betrays a partner or attacks a friend, the show should treat it like a big deal for more than one week
