Triple H's advice to Bron Breakker, don't be the next Steiner, be the first Bron Breakker

Speaking on the first episode of WWE Unreal season 3, Triple H laid out what he sees as the central challenge facing rising WWE star Bron Breakker, a wrestler who comes from genuine pro wrestling royalty as the son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner, one half of the legendary Steiner Brothers tag team

Calling Breakker smart, young, hungry, driven and coachable, with all the athletic gifts, Triple H framed the challenge in terms of identity rather than talent, saying don't become just the next Steiner, you have an opportunity to be so much more, drawing a direct comparison to how The Rock became so much bigger than his own father Rocky Johnson, and how Roman Reigns grew beyond his father Sika, arguing those performers paid tribute to their wrestling lineage in their own way rather than leaning on it, ultimately carving out their own lane entirely. In Triple H's words, you don't want to be the next Steiner, you want to be the first Bron Breakker

Breakker has been a fixture on WWE's main roster over the past couple of years, currently working as part of the stable known as The Vision. Triple H also touched on a broader pattern he's wary of in how the company builds new stars, admitting he hates having to declare that someone is the future, calling it almost a kiss of death given how hard that label is for anyone to actually live up to, while noting that the truly great ones still find a way regardless
