Tony Khan held a media call ahead of Saturday's AEW WrestleDream, and POST Wrestling has the key points. Khan covered a wide range of topics, from the company's future distribution to Adam Copeland's final year in wrestling

On Skydance, which owns AEW's broadcast partner, Khan said David Ellison has been very excited and positive about AEW. He expects changes aimed at growing AEW's distribution, which could mean more viewers and new platforms for the company's shows

On Copeland, who announced this week that 2027 will be his last year, Khan said he does not know how much Copeland will wrestle next year. He said he accepts Copeland's word that it will be his final year. He would not say whether a Tokyo Dome appearance has been discussed with New Japan, keeping those talks between himself, Copeland and New Japan's Gedo

Khan also said Christian Cage had played down his All Out injuries and that he is glad Cage will be okay. He praised Maya World, confirmed that Blood and Guts returns every November, and called Jon Moxley a leader AEW can count on every week. He also mentioned plans for a Tony Top 20 of 2026 list

Media calls are a good way to get a sense of where a company is heading, and this one sounds positive. Better distribution would be a big boost for AEW. And the hint of a possible Tokyo Dome appearance for Copeland will have fans dreaming

Would you like to see Copeland at the Tokyo Dome? And how could Skydance help AEW grow?

Khan not knowing how much Copeland will wrestle is honest. Copeland himself may not know yet

It depends on how his body feels. A short, special schedule would probably suit him best. Quality matches in big moments rather than weekly TV
