The comparison to other "we were there" moments is interesting, but I would wait before putting it in that category. Wrestling history is full of huge nights that felt like the start of something, only for the follow-up not to match the hype.

That does not take away from the achievement. It just means the real story is still being written. The next year will tell us much more than one match.

The biggest thing Oba has going for him is that he feels different. A lot of wrestlers are talented, but not everyone has that feeling where the audience immediately believes they are dangerous.

The company needs to avoid making him too polished too quickly. Sometimes leaving a little rough edge is what makes a powerhouse character work.
