Sami Zayn retains the Undisputed WWE title against Trick Williams on SmackDown

Sami Zayn is still the Undisputed WWE Champion after a chaotic main event. Wrestling Inc reports that Zayn beat United States Champion Trick Williams on Friday's SmackDown

The match was marred by interference. Lil Yachty, Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae all got involved and were ejected, before Gargano pulled the referee out of the ring. Williams was initially announced as the winner by disqualification, but titles cannot change hands that way

General manager Nick Aldis then banned everyone from ringside and restarted the match under no disqualification rules. Williams used a bin and broke a kendo stick over Zayn, who hit a Blue Thunder Bomb and survived a Trick Shot

Zayn eventually used the referee as a shield, hit a low blow and struck Williams with the title belt to retain. Elsewhere on the show, Chelsea Green beat Nikki Bella to keep her women's title, Rey Fenix retained the AAA Cruiserweight title against Ricky Saints, and Danhausen revived Finn Balor's Demon persona to take down GUNTHER

Zayn winning dirty is an interesting twist for a character usually seen as a fan favourite. It could be the start of a darker turn for him. Trick Williams has been excellent, and a rematch seems inevitable

Is Sami Zayn turning heel? And should Trick Williams get a rematch?
