AEW Forbidden Door on 28 June in San Jose is 13 days away and the card is becoming clearer. Starlight Kid will challenge Thekla for the AEW Women's World Championship at the show, bringing a Stardom versus AEW dynamic to the title picture. The Owen Hart Cup finals for both men and women will also be decided at the show, with the winners earning AEW World Championship matches. Gabe Kidd's attack on Shota Umino after an NJPW match in Osaka has set up further cross-promotional tension heading into the show.

The NJPW G1 Climax will feature defending champion Konosuke Takeshita and the returning Gabe Kidd later in the summer, but those storylines are already bleeding into the Forbidden Door build. AEW's Collision on June 13 was reviewed positively on 411 and the show is clearly being used to heat up the international roster combinations that make Forbidden Door unique. The San Jose card is expected to be the largest Forbidden Door to date in terms of card depth.

Which match on the Forbidden Door card are you most looking forward to and who are your picks for the Owen Hart Cup finals?

Starlight Kid vs Thekla is the match that excites me most on the card. Two completely different wrestling philosophies, a genuine championship on the line, and a crowd that will know exactly who both of them are
