Fantasy booking: one dream match from different eras

[DarkEnergy]

Every wrestling fan has a dream match they wish could have happened. The problem is that the best wrestlers often came from different eras, so they never shared a ring at their peak. With no injuries, contracts or ageing to worry about, which match would you book? This is pure fantasy, so anything goes

The obvious picks tend to involve legends like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin against modern stars. Imagine prime Bret Hart against Bryan Danielson, or Randy Savage against Will Ospreay. Some fans would love to see Eddie Guerrero face Rey Fenix, or Kurt Angle against Gunther in a technical classic

Then there are the stranger ideas. A tag match mixing eras, a ladder match featuring stars from four different decades or a Japanese legend against a modern AEW favourite. Women's wrestling has plenty of options too, like prime Trish Stratus against Rhea Ripley or Lita against Mercedes Mone. Tag teams and trios from different decades would be chaos in the best way

Think about the build as well as the match. Who cuts the better promo, who would win and how would the finish play out? The story is half the fun of fantasy booking

So what is your dream match from different eras? Make the case and book it properly
