Dragon Lee reportedly re-signs with WWE

[JediPanther]

Dragon Lee is staying with WWE. Fightful's Jeremy Lambert reports that, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the Mexican star has re-signed with the company. No details of the new deal have been announced

Lee signed with WWE in January 2023 and made his on screen debut that March. Since then he has won the NXT North American Championship and the WWE Speed Championship, and held the World Tag Team titles alongside AJ Styles

His most recent match was on Monday's Raw, where he challenged Chad Gable for the Intercontinental title in a triple threat that also involved Rey Mysterio. Gable kept the title, but Lee impressed again with his high flying style

Fightful says it will share more details when they become available. With several wrestlers leaving WWE for AEW and TNA this year, keeping a talent like Lee is a good result for the company

Lee is one of the most exciting performers in wrestling, with a style rooted in lucha libre. WWE's partnership with AAA gives him even more opportunities. Hopefully the new contract comes with a proper singles push

Should Dragon Lee get a main roster singles title run? And who should he feud with next?
