Darby Allin as AEW World Champion is a fascinating idea because he has always felt different from the usual top guy mould. He brings risk, emotion, and a real underdog edge, but AEW has to present him like the world champion rather than just the brave smaller wrestler surviving bigger opponents. The best version of this reign would give him serious challengers, personal stories, and enough big wins to make the title feel like it belongs with him

Darby as world champion can work if AEW books him with conviction. He cannot feel like someone accidentally holding the belt

The underdog thing is powerful, but he still needs clean big-match credibility. A champion cannot only survive chaos

AEW has the roster to make this fun. Darby against technical wrestlers, monsters, and old rivals all gives different story options

I like champions who feel unlike everyone else. Darby is risky, but that is also why the reign could be memorable
The truth is usually more complicated than the headline

It's only banter... mostly
