Not a law, not a grand political idea, just one tiny social rule that would make daily life smoother if everyone quietly agreed to follow it.

For me, it might be that if someone holds a door open and you are more than six steps away, you are not required to jog awkwardly. The door holder may release you from the social contract with honour.

What small rule would you add to society?

Let people get off the train before trying to get on. This one should not even need explaining

If someone says they are just looking in a shop, staff should leave them alone for at least five minutes
