Could be hobbies, games, habits, anything that just doesn't hit the same now.

Tastes change over time and sometimes you don't even notice when it happens.

What dropped off for you?

I would probably do it differently. Ha, yeah that is about right.

Couldn't agree more. Good shout.

These conversations are useful precisely because people push back on each other rather than just agreeing.

Thanks for that. ;D

Nightclubs, definitely. There was a time when standing in a dark room with sticky floors, expensive drinks, and music loud enough to rearrange my organs seemed like a brilliant Friday night.

Now I look at the queue and immediately start thinking about a quiet pub with chairs. The transformation happened so gradually that one day I realised I had become the person complaining about the volume.

Football has changed for me. Still enjoy watching the big matches, but the endless transfer rumours, arguments, pundit shouting, and social media outrage have drained a lot of the fun.

A quiet Sunday game with friends is still good. Spending six hours arguing with strangers about a referee's decision from 2014 is where I draw the line.
