Some everyday things still feel like science fiction if you stop and think about them. Paying with a watch, video calling someone on the other side of the world, ordering food from a glowing rectangle, or a car telling you where to turn all would have seemed ridiculous not that long ago.

We get used to things so quickly that the magic disappears under habit.

What ordinary thing still feels oddly futuristic to you?
